Shortly after lunching SAEAUT SMS Server, SAE - Automation released another product with alike functionality - SAEAUT SMS Service. Core functionality of the SMS server is now implemented as Windows NT Service without user interface. Separate configurator has better user interface than in previous product and can be used itself also for editing and viewing of SMS.
Delivered software package (SMS server, configurator, desktop client, and example web application implemented in ASP.NET for MS IIS web server) can be used:
1. as complete stand alone application for sending /receiving SMS using delivered example desktop client application from any computer in LAN
2. with delivered example web client application for writing SMS in web browser, sending it from computer running web server and in the same time SMS service to the SMS recipient
3. with a customer client application which cooperates with SAEAUT SMS service via shared database file
4. with another SAE-application OpcDbGateway for complex condition based SMS messaging. |
