Project POBICOS (supported in part by the European Commission under the FP7 ICT programme contract FP7-ICT 223984) enables a step by step building automation according to actual financial possibilities and emerging new hardware and software solutions which can be often preferred before one shot building automation projects.
POBICOS platform uses mainly ZigBee wireless technology. Main POBICOS principles are explained in two videos – basic concepts and application example .
Important contribution of our company in this project was interconnecting of POBICOS platform with legacy systems as e.g. KNX. Our product OpcDbGateway helped us very much by that. Description of results can be found in our white paper “Opportunistic applications, interoperability, user interfaces in building and home automation”. |
